Not the place of your dreams
unexpected life forms in fantasia sing;
it's the uncanny we'd want to create,
a twisted reality used as fish bait.

A witch, turned dragon would burn poor Mick
an army of brooms would clean stairs slick;
Fire Bird Suite music was chosen to entertain,
as this feature length story would enter fame.

A certain lot, the audience will believe
the magic world is here to decieve;
mainstay characters are still on call
greeting studio visitors who have a ball.

Cartoon characters forever relate our fate
musical instruments play by date,
enchanted are the tales woven by elves
can we ever be ourselves?

Well said, Martin. Many people don't want to be themselves....nicely done.

God bless America, my home sweet home.

I am myself every single day.
Just once, for just a little bit, I wouldn't mind a fantasia moment....
People can be too serious too, ya know?

I haven't been myself in so long...
I don't remember what I'm really like....
Good write here....enjoyed, hugs, Nancy.

Hi Dave,

I share your view, that's why I chose this mask for a bit ..it's emblematic of my playful self.

Beautifully written, Martin....
I love the playfulness of this one.
I just love pretending to be someone else, as long as I can come back anytime I want, to being me.
