Spring sprung so suddenly that no one
was ready for a change like this.
Upon the bosom of a snow bank,
the sun descended with a kiss

and in a fraction of a second,
the morning changed the world’s appearance
as melting icicles deflected
warm rays of light like diamond earrings.

Thank you for being early. It is just around the corner and I for one am ready. I do love the description here: warm rays of light like diamond earrings.
