I’m looking to tomorrow
for all my today’s are spent
I’m looking to tomorrow
for the day to be brighter

I’ll sit by the window all night
and wait for the sun to rise,
to shine through these panes
and convince me it is alright

My eyes are tired of yesterday
and are refusing to go on,
so sun convince them to stay awake
and to await what you can bring

Please shine over my darkened domain
so I can spot the soul I lost,
and the heart I gave away
The one of a hopeful little boy

Trickle throughout my dwelling
Dance off my walls and floors
I know I’m asking a lot of you,
but this beggar’s cup is an abyss

So I’ll look to tomorrow
for there’s nothing left in today
I’m looking to tomorrow
for I’ve got no where else to turn

Hey Dave,

Wow ... good to see you again.  As you'd guessed, yes, indeed, it is the same Michelle from the old MT.  I have made my way here, and I'm glad you did the same .  Welcome!
I have appreciated your comments on my pieces, and I look forward to interacting with you again .
Nice write, by the way.  Glad I was one of the first to reply to your first post here.  We all should look toward tomorrow with open hearts and hopeful souls.  Thanks for the read.  Take care.

Now you days are up and coming
and your time is ripe for change
guitars are strumming!

Sounds sad, when you look at how important health is all the other problems seem to melt away..and health means staying healthy like avoiding anxiety and worry.Welcome, my friend.

Tara - Thanks for welcoming me with open arms, and thanks for reading.  Most people usually get great joy in snubbing me, and throwing me out on my but.lol

Michelle - It is good to see you here as well.  I liked your use of the faces, they were all well placed.lol  Thanks for tuning in.

Wow!  I can't believe how busy this site is.  Thanks everyone for reading and your more then generous comments.  It is good to see a lot of old (moontowners, you know who you are) and new faces.
