Everything describes our love, and how it’s always been We’re so much more than lovers, though we started out ‘just friends’ But somehow we know that our lives walked hand in hand with Fate And in our hearts, we know each soul has found it’s destined mate... We know that starting over is a road for very few And sometimes, when you’re older, it’s real hard to start brand new But we are blessed with hopes and dreams, and love that’s wrapped in truth So, we have everything we need, and more than in our youth! We love like everything, right from the start We give our bodies, and our souls, with all our hearts We’ll love until that day one heart is gone That’s when this everything will help the one who’s left, to carry on... Every morning we awake to find our love is there The gentle sound of “I love you” and “I know that you care” The smile that shines in both our eyes, is love’s sweet touch of bliss But there’s not gold enough to ever buy our morning kiss We love like everything, each day is more We can’t be sure what life will bring, or what’s in store We’ll take it as it comes, and each new day We’ll love like everything, until the day that time has slipped away...
