Disguise The comfortable soothing of the night Is no longer there… its gone from my sight Velvet night… no longer able to trust Memories of happiness turn to dust My mind tries to hold on and tries to fight When darkness attacks with such force and might Knocking down barriers that try to stand With nothing but a simple quick command The shadows move and shift, a mocking dance I run, cower, from their powerful stance I look for a small ray of hope to hold Only I find nothing... the bitter cold I pull myself inward, I try to hide Waiting for the pain to leave and subside Looking around me with these clouded eyes Trapped inside this smiling disguise "My heart is like an open book, for the whole world to read" - Motley Crue, Home Sweet Home [This message has been edited by rosepetals25 (12-19-2001 06:01 PM).] |

 (tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Tara, I know just how you feel, and I too can relate to these feelings, for I believe so many never release their tears to others and hide the sorrow to the inside and wear a fake grin on the outside.
