tears drop and the last of the smoke rises slowly leaving behind ashes there is no fire left no, not any more just some dust in grey like once-coloured but now faded pictures of front page news decades ago the edges are frayed but still sharp just as the hurt that blazes through like raging fire except that there is no air to breathe no air to inflame any fire no, not any more yet self-sustaining is life and orbiting around the centre of my universe are the satellites of forever memories satellites orbiting satellites ..... ... . . |

(sigh) This reminds me of a verse from the Counting Crows "Recovering The Satellites" CD, where Adam says, "It's a lifetime commitment in recovering the satellites!". (sigh) May we forever be blessed in our most precious memories and may the afterglow of them revolve around our loving heart, as these satellites forever mirror eternal happiness and hope for us all! (big hugggssssss) Soooooooo wonderful, dearest friend, you are a true star to us all! We all love you so very much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sudhir, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

Sudhir, I have to say this is so exactly how I feel about someone, it is as though you wrote it for me. Aside from that, it is a perfect analogy, the satellites of memories. Sandra |

excellent my friend. . . I love this idea. . . our memories, floating around us. . . and around them. . . ----------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Excellent verse, although I think you'd made your point by the stanza ending "more," and could have stopped right there without loss of impact. Best wishes, Glenn Logan |
