In a world torn by so much strife, where many children suffer each day. We must be thankful for what is in our life, and to our God we must faithfully pray. There are children crying over there in a distant land we cannot see. There are children dying over there. Dear God....Why must it be? I pray for them, those little ones whose lives and bodies have been torn apart. I cry for them, those precious ones... Their suffering truly breaks my heart. The leaders justify it as ethnic cleansing and that is not murder they say. They boast about it in their meetings while the dead lie outside still and gray. The children are the little victims whose fragile lives are forever changed. Hidden behind those precious faces... The horrid thoughts remain for years deranged. Their lonely mothers cry out and weep quietly for many hours of the night. The children fitfully trying to sleep while outside they continue to fight. My life has never experienced, felt or seen the awful suffering that they say goes on in the foreign land no longer serene and sadly so terribly far away. Someday they will no longer be the children of that war torn land. For God will take them mercifully to Heaven within his mighty hand. And when the children are no longer here but there with him for eternity’s stay. Remember they once were of the land now not so terribly distant and far away I wrote this during the Bosnia Tragedy... It's difficult to explain why there is so much pain in the world. But we can pray for God to heal the world. Great poem. |

*sigh* you write from deep within feelings of such heartfelt sorrow that in the reading tears fall freely from my eyes. You bring vividly to life what goes on in this world of ours. Absolutely stunning writing, Magnus. **hugs** Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams. |

A heartfelt and very honest write Barry. How very very sad when I think about the children. Hugs, Nancy. "A dream is a wish your heart makes..." |

Aw, such a sad poem, but it speaks the complete truth. No one deserves to live like this, well except for the devilish humans conducting these horrible "ceansings" as you may say. This must be stopped immediately. Great write Magnus! Randy Meador a life lived unexplored is a life not worth living. |
