Where Dreams May Come Behind thick chained doors and dark curtains drawn, hidden in the safety of stone cold walls, stretches the dying mind from here to dawn enjoying mindless thoughts before day calls. Raggedly fragments from within time past, memory scattered about here and there. Weaved like fabric drawn together at last, an unconcious tapestry not seen bare. Behind weary eyes is where dreams may come not yet tightly closed by the need of sleep. Racked by endless thoughts, difficult for some, for others a way to search, find and weep. Where dreams may come to each, a place unknown. Once visited we leave, awoke and grown. |

Wow, Craig, this is really nice. In the second stanza, shouldn't it be woven instead of weaved? "Weaved like fabric drawn together at last, an unconcious tapestry not seen bare." |

Kacy Perhaps ... "Woven fabric ..." would work, but I prefer as is only because to me it helps describe the thoughts more than the fabric itself. Thank you for the read and direction. I do look forward to hearing from you. Noah Dreams are a marvelous thing, they so help us find our way. They are almost as good to follow as the stars in the Midnite sky. |

I loved this poem, the rhyme scheme was great, which draws me closer into the poems! Dreams are a wonderful thing, where all our deep emotions and feelings can be expressed. Nice write! Randy Meador a life lived unexplored is a life not worth living. |

Dreams, so much a part of our life. For we are the dreamers. And may it always be so. Beautiful poem, Craig. Sandra |

Not to echo everyone else, but this was a good poem dear friend! Dreams are good and even better when we follow them and make them into our reality! ((hugs)) RP |
