state of confusion

Questaholic

Can’t seem to stay put,
although this abode
is of my own design,
I’m on yet another quest
for a place
called home.

No sooner than
the boxes are unpacked
and pictures hung,
then the walls begin to feel
makeshift;
long before
I’m gone
they’ll fall away -
stage props
from today’s theatre.

Once the idea lights up,
how that forty watt bulb
shines,
a searchlight in the night
with three-way beams,
and although you think
you’re being directed here,
I’m secretively looking
out there.

Forever looking outward. This is a splendid write, with room to ponder.

going, and then staying long enough to go again. . .

I like this Cor, it makes one think. . . your words spur the thoughts. . .

This seems to be the theme of my life as far as love and relationships. I know it means more than that though. I enjoyed this, Cor. I hope you're well.

Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since
