Rebirth Another year ending The memories gently tucked away A time for reflection The pain of a loss A time to release Souls touched By events of time Forever embedded Like prints in the sand. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ A new year beginning New memories made A rejeuvination of the soul The world unfolding life anew The joy of rebirth A hope for days Filled with laughter Few tears A promise of tomorrow A continuance of life. Yes, this speaks to me right now. I'm not sorry to see this year go...but I'm looking forward to next year, for I have great plans, great freedom...and life is good again!! If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |
