In white so like a sweet angel divine,
Long hair pulled back as she washes for sleep,
It’s times like these I want to make you mine,
Only for me to love always to keep.

I wish to hold you tight for ever more,
To make you safe from a world that’s gone mad,
Be safe as you travel I do implore,
It’s these soft times with me that make me glad.

I can hold you tightly so tightly now,
Kissing you soft as passion does soft grow,
I wish to make this time always somehow,
But you have packed your bag and you will go.

The loving touch of you thrills my being,
For all the times to come you are freeing.

Nan,
Your kind words of encouragement, and the general warmth of you and the other poets here stimulate the writer.

Beautiful imagery. I love the flow! Cheers!

Rogue24,
Sometime writing the imagery come from having such a nice image, it’s those times the flow is easy to let out.

Seymour,
Seasons best to you also.

Bill
