You are the rainbow arching over the rain washed sky Your promise lifting heart and soul giving wings to fly When I see you I see the sparkling hues of loves delight I see it flowing from you in streams of liquid light The colours all merging together to make up your name Blended mixed and melded they become all the same These are the colours that make up my friend Karilea Each is a part of her, each colour part of her beauty Red is for the fire that is her poetic passions flame Orange is the compassion that is always in her name Yellow is the sunshine that she sheds with her lights Green is the life force that flows when she writes Blue is the colour of her home the wide deep sky Indigo the night shade that waits for her soft sigh >Violet the sky as it waits for her early morning rise These are the rainbow colours that reflect in her eyes Kari my sister of soul you are a rainbow of pure light Your name illumes the heart turning back the night Your words that fall from your pen so effortlessly They ease souls that have sobbed in pain endlessly Your pen is you, and you are a writer of warm sunlight And your words drop diamonds of shining starlight A rainbow of colour my darling Kari this is you You are the star and the keeper of Passions soul too Karilea    Love and warm stuff As always Puck To give light to them that sit in darkness..... to guide our feet into the way of peace St John ch2 v1 [This message has been edited by Marsha (edited 12-11-2001).] |

Marsha, you've simply outdone yourself, our little English sprite! I can see where Puck has come to play a hand in this, as well as Thanks to our Kethry for helping to make this such a visual delight... and I am simply overwhelmed! Not flattened, mind you, as you had hoped, for I've yet to reach the mountain's top, and as a good many folk have said, I'll only pick up speed once I hit the top and start down the other side! This is a treasure in and of itself, as are you! Thank you so much for your thoughts and good wishes. It is going to be a very memorable day! Thank you all! |

Well, I was gonna kick some kitties today, but I think, in Karilea's honor, and because it isn't every day someone gets this old *heh heh*, I'll give the little kittens a free ride. Thank you one and all for helping make Kari's birthday special. I know she appreciates it I also appreciate it. As for the poem you all know she is worth a little effort, (something that I rarely bother to put into anything if I can get away with it) This however did take some effort..... special thanks go to Margie girl for her unstinting help, and to Keth who sat up long into her night to help me with this. Those colors took more effort to get right than almost anything. However I have the 'code' now so there shouldn't be the necessity for quite such an intensive effort, on anyone's part.
