Little girls, oh so sweet.
Seeing you at Christmas is our best gift by far.
You make Christmas at our house a treat.
Each of you is Momaw and Popaw's shining star.

I'm remembering once when 'round the tree you went;
Eyes all big and bright,
Wondering which gift was yours
On that joyous Christmas night.

Many boxes you spied
Whose tags read your name.
Excitment built as you stared,
Your gifts waiting to claim.

All of you were handed one gift.
With squeals of delight and eyes aglow,
The pretty paper you began to lift.
What was inside you wanted to know.

The simplest of your gifts you had opened.
Each had many more still under the tree.
What happened then keeps our hearts hoping
This appreciative you'll always be.

You all fell on your knees
And started to color.
Those books and crayons you so pleased.
How proud your grandfather and grandmother!

Your other riches under that tree
Sat idle as you showed no greed.
Happier you could not have made grandfather and me.
May you always live by that creed.

A Merry Christmas you gave
To your Momaw and Popaw that night
As over a simple gift you did rave.
Happy you'll always be if little joys bring delight.

May we all share many more Christmas Eves
Gathered around the tree in love.
A family who knows the greatest gift was fortold
By that bright star above.

The greatest gift doesn't come from a store.
It is one that should make us all fall on our knees
Because God gave us Christ Jesus,
And He gave us so much more.

(sigh) Oh my gosh, this is sooooooo beautiful, sweet Jo! (sigh) Tears came to my eyes reading this to feel the tears of your family as they opened their presents and laughed in rapture! (sigh) God Bless You and your family and the Good Lord above, and may we all have the happiest holidays! (smiles) Amen! (kiss on cheek) We all love you, sweet Jo! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
