Below the starched white pillows of low, snow-covered hills, two merging streams slip and slide beneath ice as delicate as dragonfly wings, and the contoured blanket of snow and sensuous crystal streams bounce with the sunlight that is just beginning to melt the snow and sheets of ice so that they flow like dreams of spring awakening in a smooth, pebbled bed. .
