I sit here in silence
Lost somewhere deep in thought.
In the dream catcher of my mind
These visions are quietly caught.

Peeling back memories of yesterday
Past all the shadows and far beyond.
To those memories of time
That now all seem to be gone.

A love without trust will never last.
So my feelings are locked deep within.
We live and learn from our mistakes,
Down that road I won't go again.

But, to go back and revisit those days
Helps rid me of anger and hurt I feel.
As my soul still bears the scars
That are now starting to heal.

One day, I will embrace the illusions of the future.
No longer will I wish for the wishes of yesterday.
But instead will dream the dreams of tomorrow.
And your vision will gradually fade away.

Sounds like a whole lot of releasing and healing going on in here. And hopefully that dream catcher will help you sort through all those memories, trap the bad, release the good.

Love lost is always a terrible experience..
Particularly when hurt has been caused.

Live today and tomorrow....not then...
for only what you do today is really
important....Yesterdays are gone...

Nicely written,  thank you.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Eloise, it makes me so happy to hear you say that, for I believe eevry now and then it does help to go back and dwell upon the past to learn from our mistakes and understand ourselves more, but to look to the future with hope is the greatest hope and blessing of all! (sigh) Soooooooo touching, sweet friend, we all love you so very much! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Eloise, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
