Snow moon’s thumbnail shard
Cupping lucent shadow well
Waxing, waning time

Sliver of life smiles
Through the shadows of the moon ~
Below, the snow shines

Beautiful, Karilea.  It does get my toes to tapping, however.  Just for you, I'll refrain from my usual kitty kicking.  I'll not write about that most delicious of pasttimes.  I'll not think about the kitties flying.  I'll not sense the touch of a kitty on my boot.  I'll....erk...help...I...can't...help...myself...

Kitties meow loud
The moon sliver calls Long John
His boot moves swiftly

Cows can't jump the moon
Neither can little kitties
But they sure can fly!

heh

Stunning, anything about a moon gets my attention!

the twelfth moon of time
shines across all planes of life
showing there, our way
