It once was on another tree
One which didn’t belong to me,
But it belonged each Christmas there
Gentle touch hung with loving care.

Just paper and a white feather,
Some glue to hold it together,
The glitter fell off years before
Given away was mine once more.

If first hung my first Christmas snow,
Before school age so long ago,
Now time spins me to life alone,
The Angel now hangs in my home.

The young giver now must receive,
Again in Angels we believe.

Gloom
I am not sure this meets the challenge,
or is just inspired by the challenge.

I'm not sure I've seen the challenge, but I do like this poem!

I am many.
