I write But your heart Does not read My words. My pen Speaks But your eyes Do not hear me. My love Falls on dead ears And mute lips, I long to savor, Remain closed In perfect pose. Would that a miracle Could open your eyes, Unseal your lips, Free your ears, Ignite your soul And attune it to mine That we may share Love, Life, Joy, And most of all Commitment. Maybe My next work Will be a Miraculous Awakening. ~~~~~~ Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write. |

We can write but we can't make them read and, sometimes, when they finally do, we can't make them understand what we are saying....true words, interloper. All we can do is keep plugging....nice write, sir. |
