I should have seen it coming but it left as subtle as it came Sleepless nights waiting for love to get home The carelessness of a lack of a caress The misinterpretation of a single kiss The hole we digged in our hearts created by our own disdain What else? Who can repair pain? After we lose to love the lack of interest is a sure bet And then always leaving the best for last Disappearing into the night your last act your finishing touch of love |

WOW! wonderfully written! Love, a hard emotion to express, yet when the words come from the heart, who is to say it is wrong? Ter. Alone in the dark, through my thoughts comfort I do seek, through my words I find peace. |

(smiles) Oh Walker, I hope this isn't related to an experience in your love life, for it breaks my heart to feel when lovers don't care about each other! (sigh) I pray that it's not what it seems and he's only just begun to share you the beauty of eternal love and is saving the beauty of it for every day! (kiss on cheek) You are sooooooo romantic, sweet friend, this is a beautiful bittersweet expression of love! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Walker, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton |

It is sad when the excitement of a kiss or touch becomes routine....or expected...your poem expresses well! VR |
