Universe within my mind: Ever expanding with no limits I know of, Brain needing no eyes for answers to find, Imagination traveling far beyond stars above, Thoughts freely revolving around unknown thresholds to plan it, Love shines like moonlight on gray worlds that do matter, Pain instantly signals cerebral center like a streaking comet, Meteoric flashes of brilliance fade as quickly as a shooting star, Hopes and dreams disappear into depression's black hole, My life passes before mind's eye at the speed of light, Death takes my body yet not my mind and soul, As I rocket towards my eternal destiny, No spaceship needed for this glorious flight. |
