Winter snow fell that day Had to drive about 40 miles In the slippery ice and snow Seeing cars slide off the road Praying that I would get home Early enough to feed my llama Remember how she loves apples So I stopped to buy some more Often feeding her twice a day For her to become more at ease Don't know if she will ever come Around to let me touch her neck Wish she would let me, cause Now she is mine for keeps By Sue 12-6-01 [This message has been edited by SmartChick (edited 12-06-2001).] |
