state of confusion

Snowballing

A slow, seeping
(vine-like creeping)
realization encroaches,
a small voice at first,
a whisper
that steadily grows louder,
it rebuffs silence
and tugs at mind strings.

A chorus repeating
(never retreating)
chimes with a past
that wants to be present,
of paths thought to be closed,
crumbs of old trails exposed,
a way back to Pacific breezes
passageway to genesis.

With increasing clarity
(and alarming verity),
once immovable obstacles
slowly blow away,
could it be
that barrier was me?
A cloudless message
calls me home.
