Gathering Flowers

Too wondrous is the fragile grace that dwells within a rose
For artist hand to render, or for color to compose
And yet its imprint lives forever in the eye and mind
Of a single rose that blooms amidst the garden and the vine

I can’t completely  reap the glory from a rose’s bloom
Or memorize the total sum of pleasure I consume
And yet I spread my eyes across the breadth of what I see
Gathering all the flowers I wish to last eternally

lovely...keep gathering those flowers!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

(smiles) Oh my gosh, this poem had me daydreaming of the beauty of the rose, imagining I was smelling it and in awe of its beauty! (big hugggssssss) We may never capture the complete essence of the rose, but just being able to capture pieces of it is a blessing and beauty of it! (kiss on cheek) Soooooo gorgeous, sweet friend, your words are always soooooo breahtakingly beautiful! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Elizabeth, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Oh how exquisite is this...this is glorious!! Liz..I love the style and language that you wrapped you gift of cadence in. What a treat to read aloud was this rose garden you share with us.
Absolutely lovely writing Poetess of Grace.

This poem is the best poem I have read today. The count, the rhythm, the words, all leapt up screaming Encore Encore! And yes, I gave in, and read it for another score. I'm putting this in my library!

This is why I read. Thank you.

And as only you can do - that was indeed a "rose"!
Simply elegant Liz.
