perhaps--
Love is lost
    in that moment
    when there births
        an urge
        to ask--
            who held whose palms,
            and who gave
                first?

---
during my walk back home (from work) yesterday, late in the evening, I noticed this couple, the boy offered his hands and the girl placed her palm in his palm, but that seemed to take a while, and he had that 'Doubting Thomas' look, as if asking: what's wrong?

Leads me to ask: if love is that art of giving, then isn't taking without doubt, a part of that art as well.

well thanks for reading this ...

You are beautiful Sudhir...I am a "people watcher" too--I've concocted some strange imaginings just from body language alone.
Loved your poem, lovie!

Yes, I know this feeling of watching others and just observing, I can relate to this!

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Sudhir, I know just what you mean, love should always be that feeling where both give without hesitation and with a bright smile of comfort and beauty to give and share! (sigh) My heart goes out to all who wish to love but the other won't give in return. (sigh) Very wonderful expression, sweet friend, your loving heart always shines through your beautiful words! (big hugggssssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sudhir, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Sudhir, you have so much insight. I always will be treated to words of deep meaning when reading you...and come away in deeper thought.
