Out of My Hands
I could write you
a love poem
but it wouldn’t
make you mine

sing you
the perfect song
it would be
wasting my time

even if I prayed
it to be
couldn’t make
your heart feel

give up all
that I am
saying words can not
make it real

no there is nothing
I can do
the only
possible truth

is out
of my hands
I have seen
the proof
