Lost at Sea with no one to save me,
No one understands the torment,
The endless nights of dreams,
Dreams that turn into loneliness,
Still drifting on this wave,
Somehow all I can do is hang on
clinging for each breath that hurts
deep within my chest,
Pain seeps into my mind,
Still I go on barely able to reach
for the lifesaver, but reaching
I still clasp on to this another day,
Sadness clings onto me,
clinging, clinging, tears invade
my eyes, smiles behind the jaded scars,
That not even a million bandages could cover,
No one hears my cries, drowning in the boat,
Far out to sea, with only God to salvage,
the pieces that must be put back together,
It's not always easy to gain your composure,
So once again life goes on.
