Just In Case

Just in case...
you haven't noticed
haven't looked into the glass,
I have mirrored you in edges
have restored and framed in brass.
I have stared into the eyes of blue,
though tempted all the while,
I resist, withhold the want of you
and place you in minds file.

Just in case...
you need reminding
'bout the wrestling of desires,
I've imprisoned you, in vivid words,
in photopainted priors
holding onto all, especially,
caresses from your touch
I resist, withhold the want of you
though pressuring is much.

Just in case...
you think of me, a tease,
in panarama view
landscaped, guarding all there is
except from love that's true.
In retrospect, I reign in thoughts
of those that want to please.
I resist, withhold the want of you
with every breath I seize.

Just in case...
you think I'll change my mind
succumb to your intentions
I am purposeful, in meaning of
the sense of my directions.
I aim to view, in mirror, two
of faces you and I
and behold the feelings when expressed
in seeing eye to eye.
