I hate the angels for being jealous of me
For taking you away; why didn't they see?
The dreams that we shared feel crumbled and lost
All that we'd give up no matter the cost
So hard to get up and face everyday
Knowing that you are not doing the same
In dreams you will visit
In my heart you'll live on
But all that still hurts for I know you are gone
Not here to confide in
Not here to give love
It all seems so different for you are so far above
Against all odds we stood together
Although at times it all seemed so rough
It always worked out because you loved me enough
To stand by me always
To hold my hand when I was scared
To face any challenge that I was dared
To some it seems over
In my eyes begun
For in my heart we will never be done
