Soulmate Sky

Among the stars I shall find you
'cross the sky of buttercup blue,
my angel, my once in a lifetime
you are my prince come true,
through the rush of the wind's sigh
sun and moon weep with jealousy
as God's tears shower us
with the promise of eternal ecstasy

The world will be ours for a moment
as earth and space caress to align
'tis true love at first sight,
you are my gift from fated time,
heaven's breath shall unfold
within the vibrant flame of your kiss
electric lips shall anoint me
with heart-enveloping bliss

My kindred lover, I'm yours
through the hum of soulmate sky
making love on the breeze
to destiny's purest lullaby,
and to the drum of butterfly wings
our spirits will mesh into one,
at dawn, we'll be husband and wife
'neath the blessing of passion sun

Melissa, this was so romantic, but I pray that you do not get "Fabxx" in your Christmas stocking LOL, and that he looks a tad different than our hero here.  Sometime I will tell you about my experience with the string of "Fabxx's" I have run through.  This was VERY romantic!

Melissa - Thank goodness for this poem!  By luck of draw I chose a lot of sad poems by you first. This poem, too, is sad because of your response to that rascally scalawag (I think I need not name him).   Please do not blindly accept his resume - check his references and you will see that a Long John is a lot warmer than a 'Deer!  heh
