Among the lesser well known Greeks of ancient times and prone to speak in rhyme more oft' as not like thus 'twas one they called Poeticus " This meek young lad shall not amount to hill of beans " lamented Dad . " He uses quill to play with words by all accounts the boy is mad !" "All mighty Zeus , didst thee forget the wine that addled thy small wit 'til you behaved a drunken sot the night our son was thence begot ?" "How dare you say the boy is odd most surely he's the son of gods' and therefore more than you could know (unless to sleep alone , you'd go !)" A Mother knows these things , you see . Sleep tight , my little Poetry . |
