and happily ever after
I once believed in wishing stars
and the joy I found in laughter

I once believed in carpet rides
soaring over moonlight filled nights
I once believed in lovers truth
while his arms made life feel so right

I once believed my prince had come
on his proverbial white steed
I once believed in magic kiss
now there's nothing left to believe.

Nothing to believe in anymore,
No reason to walk the moonlight
Or wade the wave at the shore,
Nothing to make believing right.

The world turns bland and tasteless,
No smells of salty winds now blow,
It’s something familiar like darkness
Not believing is something I know

um.
so,
since i'm just That Kind of Guy (tm) want me to find whoever this guy is and squeeze his neck until his head turns purple?
failing that, i wish you nothing but the best - this poem is sad, but it demonstrates beautifully what a talent you truly have. i deeply enjoy reading your work.

(big hugggsssssss) This is so very sad, sweet Sandra, I've always believed in these things myself, then sometimes when I dream maybe I could take the hand of my lovely princess and ride with her into romance, my heart breaks and can't help but doubt if it'll come true and If I'll ever feel loves first kiss! (sigh) But I know deep down if you believe in yourself, your dreams will come true. Say to yourself, "I believe in magic, and I will find the prince of my dreams and live happily after after forever!". You deserve the most beautiful love, and I know with all my heart you will have your heart singing as the angels rejoice in your happiness! (big hugggssssss) We all love you so much, sweet Sandra!!! I see this as a double-edged sword,
sad if you have not found such treasures
but if only, in my belief, and word ...
happy that you understand love's measures.

Once we experience something we believe in,
it is no longer, it becomes known.
Such as the magical kiss, once tasted you will know there is no more searching for something to believe in.

This is what I see, hope its close to home.
