Over a year ago I wrote a poem dedicated to Robert William Gruhn because he always impressed me so much with his incredible writing. Since then where ever I have been I continue to call him Sir Robert and quickly it catches on. He is a dear friend of mine. I hope you enjoy this poem that gave him the title of Knight. If you wish to see it in full display just go to my home page and go to the dedication pages.

OUR KNIGHT
DEDICATED TO ROBERT WILLIAM GRUHN

Our Knight...We see him within our soul
Valour and right are his holy goal
Ancient truth flows from his living heart
Modern earth is where he does his part

His steed rides swiftly with faithfulness
Always bowing head in thankfulness
Humble and truthful he lights our way
Words of faith is what he has to say

His armour shines gold with loves light
With faith he polishes it day and night
It protects a heart that is most pure
Where his love, first given, he is sure

His shield is the truth from Holy Book
Giving strength to all who care to look
Held high to protect the heart and mind
This shield he offers to all mankind

His sword is a pen with double edge
The spreading of truth his sacred pledge
With powerful strokes he gives the word
Bringing light to all hearts who have heard

Our Knight...Yes, we see him even now
He will keep us safe, teaching us how
His love is that of the purest known
Through all his words and actions it's shown

Our Knight...Rides through our Meadow, so fair
With kindest words he shows how to care
Writing from a heart filled with passion
Sir Robert, Our Knight, man of action

I'm glad to see this, I was just commenting on his poem that I hoped you would post the poem you referred to, and now I see you have. I think Sir Robert is going to be a welcome addition to our little family here. Sounds like he has a heart and compassion almost to match your own.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
