Iambic pentameter is so overrated

Soft slippers surround her feet,
Sipping brandy peaches sweet,
The stereo plays a song
And she softly sings along.

Candles flicker lack breezes
She has the time she pleases
To sit and sip and ponder
To let her mind go wander.

Red robe hugs her to warming
And there stays till the morning
When gazes with tired eyes,
Greets the bright beaming sun rise.

Another night he’s not there,
He’d write a sonnet if here.

*sigh* so very sad. My heart felt so bad for her. You write to put tears in my eyes, my friend.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Startime,
Sorry to fill your eyes,
Just a little exercise in writing,
Sometime I forget how morose I am.
I’d offer you my hankie,
But I can’t figure how to pass it to you.
Thanks for the response.

Gloom

Ah, this is touching. So sad and tender

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
