Tilting upwards
Spreading wings
I’m gonna Fly.....

  You think I can’t?
  Watch Me

Bring your silver linings
See if they fit
I don’t want your strings attached
Let me glide

I’ve made up my mind
The wind is at my back
Purple doves are calling
Kissing rainbows in the sky

Don’t need anymore of your alibis
I hear the whispers riding
Against the cirrus waves
I can break lose and tunnel
Surf streams of breathless falling

Where the colors meet
In Sangria dreams
I’ll bubble into the sun

Running from the star streams
I can feel my legs

Don’t try to follow
I’m casting daylight
Along the amethyst shore
Right in the light of edges
Where I can fall off your world

When days turn to yellow
Waxy, melting seas
No feathers will be falling
From the sling shot of hope
Bursting Red towards sunset
I’ll dangle
Freely
In the pink ribbons of tomorrow

now, I really like this. . . these are wonderful images. . . and not just the "pink ribbons". . .

"Sangria dreams" is my personal favorite. . . (and do I have to tell you why??   )

this is an escape into life. . . great job Regina. . .

This is a great passionate write of a woman who's really going to fly on life. I love it. Suits my mood these days. Wonderful thoughts and emotions in this piece.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?
