a fantasy poem  Cashmere fingers touch me as the rain falls and I stand, waiting. My palms open. My arms cannot hold the drops but soon they will hold you. I am free, free to open them and free to love you. I will wait for you, in the rain, fragile but strong. But I am a woman. I need your arms around me. I am standing, unafraid. But still, I am cold. I need your strength to protect me. I will wait for you, in the rain, fragile but strong. But I am a woman. I need your arms around me. I am standing, unafraid. But still, I am cold As someone who believes that if I don't own an umbrella, it will never rain...I keep getting proven wrong. So, I liked the idea of this poem alot. It's ok if it rains, as long as there are arms to warm you afterwards. Great, though kinda soggy fantasy. |
