AN UNWRITTEN SPELL

My hand draws to you
so slowly at first
then with thriving thirst
reaching and touching you.

But you turn away
missing the gesture
nothing is for sure
its why I hide away

In words I will try
to so fill your soul
that is not my role
but is what I must try

Reaching, touching you
my story to tell
an unwritten spell
as my hand draws to you

With paper and pen
I weave my magic
a love drawn tragic
from my undying pen

*sigh* such sadness that brings tears to my eyes. I hope that the love you pen is returned in all the ways that you want it to. Love is rare, my friend. Hold on tight to it when you find it. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Wow, powerful write here.  I hope it gets better for you.

So sad but yet so powerful.
A beautiful write that
contains so much truth.

Sunshine
Lone Wolf -   Thank you for your comments.
Voiceless     Many of us have or will soon
              enough experience this, Love's
              truth is in the "spelling".

Serenity -    You have a beautiful heart,
I'm sorry to hear of its
              lonesomeness. I was told
that to break the spell all
that was needed was to read
              it backwards ... it hasn't
worked yet!! I wish you well!!

Karen -       Do not worry, when its ready,
              I will be too !!

Sandra -      I have read your poems
              and felt your heart
              experienced your hurt
              from miles apart ...

Yes, it could have been by
your hand .... with that in
mind I am sending you this ...

ctowen,

I haven't read many of your poems as of yet... but the ones I have read I really like. I enjoyed this.. it was ( as Sunshine said) haunting.  I really really like.

Hugs,

Thank you Tara, it has a haunting effect.
I think because I tried to word it as if it was actually a spell,
hence the the repeated words and internal rhymes.
It chills the truth of the words a bit.
I am glad you like it.
