Bristles

Sweep clean the night's last sin
beneath the bristles swishing task
the grime of "never-life" fades away
Mercy rings aloud
towering above the drone of shallow love
Brass bells with a silver lining
chime sweet the break of day
A heart in vine knows the gentle squeezing
of sunlight's call to reach the lattice crown

This reminds me so of Romeo fleeing Juliet's side at dawn to escape discovery of their affair. You are very talented and I am enjoying your verse extremely. Please keep them coming.

The poetic language you use is pleasing to the ear and takes one back to a time when words were filled with powerful emotion. BRAVO!!!A wonderful read.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

WRBreezin-
Very cool write...I much enjoyed the
wording and the over-all feel of this.
   Nicely done.

This is just bristling with good lines, Willie. And who calls you a thug? Sorry, guess I haven't linked yet.
