Teddy Bear Love

I love her like a teddy bear
That I had when I was just a little boy
Which I always hold close to my heart
Cuddly and lovable like a plush toy

I tuck her in and kiss her goodnight
Like I did with my teddy before I closed my eyes
Caressing her bare flesh and touching her softly
Like when I tucked my teddy in my arm as we sleeped tight

As a child, I soared through imagination with my Pooh
Spinning and letting myself fall into surreal worlds
Now my heart leaps with joy, having her to dream beside me
Sharing lovers fantasies every day with my girl

My teddy would always get dirty, but I clean it with care
To again see the smile on its napped woolen face
Now I watch over her, making sure she is safe and happy
Washing her tears with sunshine whenever she is glum every day

When I love her, I feel like a kid all over again
Skipping into infinite heavens high above
She makes me the happiest lover I can be
I am her boy toy, she is my one true love...
