All I ever wanted was to love, love for the first time To share in the excitement that love can show and bring Wow was I wrong I was the total fool Losing in love especially when it’s your first love It is very hard to understand “why”. I just sat in my room stunned and broken Crying wondering what I had done wrong My heart was shattered to pieces and misplaced, On clouds that floated away never to return Angels felt my heart breaking Watching me as there tears fell as soft gentle rain Then I discovered from a friend She was all an illusion under a cold-hearted disguise You had the audacity to say your love for me was true But how could you have been so cruel and hard-hearted? If you did not want to be with me To you and your so-called friends I was just a joke Why did you string me along, was it wanting to hurt and destroy me? Was it the sick rush it gave you, an excitement to damage another person? My heart you did take and you broke it into a thousand pieces You laughed and turned away and walked of with out saying a single word I died on that day, would you have cared I guess not They say love is blind I say It was your loss in the end.
