A bull tore through the china shop
Enraged and snorting as he went
'Twas blinded to the havoc wrought,
Continued thus 'till he was spent.

The cause of all this rage, you ask?
It seems he snagged a nasty splinter
Carousing through the briar patch
In mindless search of his next dinner.

When sense returned he nursed his wound
While plucking the offending thorn
Assessing damage done to him,
The briar patch he hath forsworn.

He wiped the tears he shed then said,
“I acted hastily, no doubt,
Inflicting pain upon myself”,
Then slammed the door on his way out.

Yet to the bull it did not matter
That china shop's completely shattered.

"Snort," said the bull with a tear in his eye
And a frown on his face as he breathed a soft sigh.
"I should have thought more 'fore I charged through that shop
So angry and letting my hooves clop clop clop."
So the bull went back to the shop, now shattered
For inside his conscience, it really did matter
Now the bull stand outside the shop on the walk
And attracts varied customers from many a block!

OK, so it's cheesy, but it was fun to write. Now if only we could get people to do this.....

God bless America, my home sweet home.
