I was paddling through the penguins When the battle planes flew o'er I fell; could not get up, although I made it safe to shore The penguins fell like dominoes From staring in the air They bounced back up, took all my clothes, And left me, flattened, bare A stripper, me? -I'm much too plain, But, with my great left hip I catch a lot of planes -- I am, At least, their landing strip! ~~~~~ ~~~~~ ~~~~~ I wrote this a while ago as a response to a challenge at a former writers' site. It was based on a weird photograph. As for penguins falling over, I hear that this happens when planes fly over and they stare up at them, but...sounds doubtful, to me. |
