I have a friend named Duncan who I thought was a cool guy But I have had that image dashed, I’m here to tell ya why He likes to think he’s studly, the girls all think he’s sweet When he comes here writin poetry, we all melt at his feet So gals I’m her to tell ya, about our studly friend I woulda kept it to myself, but something made me bend You see he double dared me, and I do rise to dares So now you’re gonna hear about Dunc in his underwear He rises in the morning, and he turns on his tv He thinks that she is oh so sweet, that little Katie C Then onto Regis and Kelly, who he thinks is oh so hot What? You think that I mean Kelly, I must kid you not I think he likes that Regis, with his snappy kinda dress I think that’s what he told me, memories short I must confess Then it’s onto Rosie O’Donnel, he thinks she’s a funny one But wait here for there’s more, his viewing day has just begun Our Duncan has a personal fave, they call her Judge Judy And there’s a little story there, we’ll keep between you and me He has this little fantasy, features him and the lady judge If he hadn’t double dared me, his image wouldn’t now be smudged As he watches her dole out punishment, his thoughts turn kinda wild He imagines her a spankin him, as though he were just a child Then he has to bow down, kiss her feet, this Queen of the Bench But he told me that he really truly, gets off on the stench Now when I said I was gonna tell all this, cause I think it’s kinda funny What do you think our big stud did? went a running to his mummy So folks, next time you read a poem of his and think how sweet I think you’ll now recall this image of him kissing Judy’s feet Now next time Duncan dares me, I think he should think twice He should talk to friends of mine, they’d give him good advice Never dare a redhead, least not a short one drinkin beer She’ll always get the last word, now Duncan, do ya hear??? If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please? |

 (giggles in delight) Oh my gosh, this is so funny and cute, sweet Tracey! (smiles) I know all about those shows too; my older brother has a crush too on Anne Robinson of "The Weakest Link". Elizabeth, not my fault!!! It was done on a dare!!! Amy, glad you enjoyed it. I had great fun writing it Larry, yeah, that's what he get's for daring a redhead!!! And thanks for saying I'm a sweetie....YA HEAR THAT DUNCAN!! LOL Noah, glad you enjoyed it. Now if I'd thought of Anne Robinson, I'd have put her into this piece Duncan, oh I forgot a few did I???? Do I sense a sequel to this poem coming up???? And what's this LET me win????!!!! I won hands down pal. Now, ya gonna stop daring redheads???? LOL Kacy, spit and spat...I like that. Maybe we'll have to take this act on the road !! LOL. Whaddya mean a tie, we women have to stick together here....I won dammit. See, even Duncan said so!!!! Nancy, thank you so much, so glad you liked it. I thought I might be a bit of a pariah, for having exposed Duncan like this, but hey, someone had to tell the truth!!! Ya know????
