Land of Never-ending Summers

Like the poem suggests, I wrote it after an exam... Really tired and really stressed, but juz felt the sudden urge to write.

It is just another boring day - more so
I sat alone in the library
Flipping nervously through my books

I just sat for a paper in the morning
It was supposed to be difficult
Well... at least hard enough
To keep me up half the night worrying

Yet while I was filling in the blanks
I thought to myself
I should have slept earlier
It just wasn't worth the stress

Then came my next paper
A long wait in the afternoon
It was supposed to be easy!
I thought it would be a breeze - an ace to bag

Yet I was caught by surprise
Was I overconfident?
Did this paper seem harder?
Or was I lacking in practice?

Now I am tired, mentally drained
My head is throbbing
Like it will split in between
My muscles are aching
Having created a miracle
Making pens fly across paper

My mind is dulled
By the gentle rock of the bus
Boy I wish it would move faster
So I could seek the comforts of my bed
It is almost a day now
I miss the softness of my pillow
This day is ending soon
Tomorrow is yet another beginning

They are stressful! Good luck with the rest of your school.

God bless America, my home sweet home.

Ahh, Mon Cherie....This day is ending soon
Tomorrow is yet another beginning...this is more of true statement than you realize yet, for each day is another beginning for us, and if we can look at it, and let the yesterdays be just those, then we can go through life much easier..Good luck to you, very gentle smile

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Mon, my heart goes out to your stress and exhaustion, but look at the bright side; that day is coming then you'll be able to rest upon your soft pillow much more and enjoy all the things you love to do! (big hugggssssss) We're so proud of you, sweet friend. Believe me, I am going through all of that now too, as I go through my senior year of high school! (sigh) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Mon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Nice job of writing about your feelings
after a day of papers, tests, pests and
all of those tedious things that are
SUPPOSED to help our education process...
Whewwwwww.
