Jean`te’s Facade

the wickedness of winds brought no dismay
she fought naught against anger retained
emotions ran unfettered, unrestricted
radiant excitement unrestrained

onlookers ran, fearing the blackness
bidding her follow, still Kelara held ground
confusion evident, she had no words
knowing to attempt, would only further confound

as blackness neared, she braced understanding
the air, bitter, metallic
she breathed determined breaths, tasting ~
what filled her lungs, wild ~ electric

this was hers, the moment of ancient preachings
what would come to pass, long ago lore
stories told, fantasy thought myth
would be thought unreal no more

SEA~ The first one was a tough one to follow but you have still come out ahead....once again, there is wonderful imagery in this and the tale is addictive...I echo the above poets, more!  More!

I like seeing you broadening your vocabulary
and stretching for the imagery.
this is an "electric" write...
builds like a storm coming in...leaves the reader wanting more.....
