The flowers on my wallpaper have withered and died. Their petals cover my floor because he loves not. He doesn’t come around or call me anymore. His heart has turned cold, and left my love to rot. When the last petal in this senseless games has fallen, then I will know his love will never return to me. Very well done, Abigail! I like the way you made that wallpaper come alive. But I hope you (or the one in this poem) can someday sweep those petals out the door, and look for new a bud. |
