A monster making harsh demands, Like a bristling thorn, here I stand; I crawl and squirm within your angst, A serpent tipped with poisoned fangs. Hit on my head to have me dead, You can't, (for) I dwell inside your head; A guilt trip burning like wild fire, I'm your chest's untamed desire. Your inner child, I'm the dark one Your ego boost, I'm your mean gun; A black figure with grey shadow Yet colourful like a rainbow. Forfeit me to some burning coal To make your life better and whole. ===== I guess if the darkness called selfishness is destroyed from every soul, there will finally be peace inside us all... But, I guess that is the cliché in itself... whatever ! Preach not, for the ears do not listen the sounds of the dumb (?) ... maybe I am reinventing the wheel, eh? ![]() ===== "I was born intelligent - education ruined me" [This message has been edited by Sudhir Iyer (edited 10-29-2001).] |
