Windy Wile

For me the twilight holds more night
I ride within this lovely light.
I travel on my quests of do
And meet head on all problems new.

I challenge all my wakeful bare
With resolute and daring dare
I am the champion of my dreams
And fill each scene with conquest seem.

All villains fall before my lance
There’s nothing left accursed chance
I wear the favor of a maid
And meet with her in favors glade.

We drink the wine of ghostly grape
She lies upon my phantoms cape
And we exchange our lover’s soul
Until the sun dries up the goal

It’s a half-life of windy wile
Half-life that always brings a smile.

Loved the entire poem, but the "half-life" reference? Well, it did me in. Thanks for the coffee, sy...

then beneath phantom's cape red
she solemn stops me in my stead
whispers shared between us two
as the raspberry tea is brewed

Well, this is very interesting and I would love to sit upon thy cape and have a glass or two...but, I am more than interested in meeting Randy.  Hummm, the plot thickens.  Excellent write by the way.  Hugs, Nancy

(big hugggssssss) Oh my gosh, this is soooooo beautiful! Such chivalry and middle age romance fills this sweet vision, and winning a lady's heart! (smiles) Made me think of feeding raspberries and strawberries and cream to my girl, and she eats them and sucks the juice off my fingers happily! (smiles) Soooooo beautiful, sweet Seymour, I love it!!! You have such a beautiful heart, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
