I left it alone,

But I couldn't forget you,
Day after day
Your words echoed in my head

But my pain has made me feel dead

I woke up one morning
And watched the sunrise
All I could see was
The look in your eyes
When you held me close

I love you forever,

I couldn't forget you
For a moment that day
I was shocked when
I heard myself tell you,

I couldn't let your love slip away

Oh I am totally feeling this poem you have so wonderfully penned! Love can be scary, escpecially when you've been hurt in the past. I am sooo happy for you that you found your true love! I've yet to find mine, Keep your fingers crossed for me!
