Tossing the drapes to the fireplace
She poured herself an ale, drinking in
The redness of the brew..cherry lipped
She knew the scent of dust...would subside

Proudly she admired the Bells of Ireland
Touching the petals delicate feel...she fell.. awkwardly
In love...with a stranger...the craziness of it all
Swirling the thoughts... becoming palatable

She decided to pay a visit to her Book Lord
Down into town she trod more deliberate in step
Finding her favorite seat with heavy book in hand
Flipping through the pages...Her eyes met her Name

Bronte.
Thunder. One of the female horses of  Helius
She was enticed to read in amusement,  marvel
As Helius had many lovers indeed, a steed
His chariot fired the heavens, blinding golden gates

She flipped to Brigit, backwards, in order to find
Her Mother’s Name shining...as the poetess Divine
Still she was not connecting, the Lovers Crossing Rhyme
As the Mistress of his Travels...to the Northern Emerald Isle

Quiet the Library hushed, in scent of leathered ink
Alone except for the attendant, nothing was heard
But the papery turn of page..Numbing in white noise
As a Blast filled the aisles, rustling pages into a Frenzy

Throwing back her chair, standing to run away
Every book, every page laced the air, snowing
The scent of cinnamon filled her senses again!
“What is this strange presence? Show your FACE!”

In the center of the whirlwind paper blizzard
A transparent figured, took shape, shining,  radiating
Pulsing into her vision...aware that the attendant had ran
She walked towards the Man.... Now emerging real

“Why have you come??...What do you want??
You are making me angry in this play of tricks!”
He spoke and dimmed, softly glowing from within
“I am all things warm and delicious to you.”

“I have come to answer the Riddle of your Heart
I am that which you crave...desire...hunger for
I have ached at the birth of your name forever
You are my depth...separating, uniting my light”

“I am your Lugh...Your Dancer, your Magician
Anything I will be....For My Goddess..My Love”
She stood in astonishment of his proposal
“I am nothing!...I am just a woman!...No Goddess!”

Regina, this segment of Bronte's appeal has taken us to yet a higher, even greater level of expression...much to see, and enjoy!

I'm just coming back to thank you all for staying with me and "holding my hand" through this series of verse! I can't believe the acceptance and warmth you all offer. I hold you all in highest esteem and look forward to joining you in your own verse...as this took some of my reading time...so, you all were so very kind to me!   Hugs to each!

Sincerely,
Regina
