Where were we
on 11th September?
The day; the hour
we'll always remember

What we had for breakfast
the kiss on the mouth
as we said goodbye
and you headed south

Later on, thought things through
who am I, who were you?
One thing I know, brave you were
Love is you

Gone now: still loving you
washing in, cycles though
that was us, you and me
washing, rinsing
but now it's through!

The last spin of life
Wish I'd said....
hope you knew
and now you're dead..

No time to say
I care, truly care
holding you in my heart
you're here
there
spinning everywhere...!!!

The images remain..this was the first thing I wrote at 14:31 for months...not sure it makes any sense...maybe that we need to say what is in our hearts before it is too late...called it "spin towers"

Big HUGS to those that have seen me go through the wash and seen me spin..

Lobe is: something you can never repeat, it just revs at such power....doesn't it?

HUGS

Thank you Denise.:-)

LOL, I'm thinking I'd have disappeared into an abyss..

Glad to know I didn't ....often read, just away with the fairies most of the time, they do make me smile..*g*

Don't ask me where I'm going, just listen when I'm gone and far away you'll hear me singing softly to the dawn.

Cindy,
I'm one of the new kids on the block. My first post was on this subject. I like this. The sad part is it does make sense. This should never have happened!  Thanks.

Yes indeed, Sept. 11th made me sit down and think - about myself, others and the world - and c ry. A poem straight from your rainbow heart. Good to see you again. You've been missed!

Cindy - Do I need to get in my row boat and come see you?  I've missed you.  It may sound strange, but I was thinking of you just before I came into PiP this morning, and there you were!  Actually, I think of you a lot.  I hope you are well and happy.  Here's a huge old Yankee hug from an admiring colonial.

You just don't know how good it is to see your name... what a special treat for my morning to open up PIP and see this world's most beautiful rainbow! *S* I've missed you much, sweet lady! *S*

I think the events of that day have us all still spinning... well done, RG!

Cindy!  Welcome home....it has been too, too long...

and yes, as you go back to that day here in this forum, you will see many, many hearts that have shared so much as to the events of that day, and those that followed....

so glad to see your face again!

ah lady, it does my heart good to see you here...would you believe last night I was awake, thinking about old times and when we first came here, and how you and suthern and me wanted so much to chat like before and PIP moderators frowned on our frivolity ...well...there is today, to tell you that you are still in my heart, and I really love the way you wrote this

Rainbowgirl,

I can say that I'm sorry we've never met before, but it is nice to meet you now.   September 11th is indeed one no one will ever forget. I'm not sure if it is unfortunate or not, but I was still in bed when the tragedy happened and didn't find out about it til about an hour later.
